Fine Art Elopement | Belle Farms in Birmingham, Alabama

Meet Alec & Mary Payne Taylor!

This was one of the most special days to photograph! These two are so dear to me and it was such an honor to watch their love and grace towards one another and everyone else during the Covid19 crisis changing up all of their original wedding plans! They had everything planned and booked for the wedding day of their dreams and once the virus hit they were thrown a new hurdle to jump daily! Instead of letting all the overwhelming details and many changes get them down, they decided to rise above it and elope! During one of my phone calls with Mary Payne she so sweetly said, “At the end of the day we know we just want to be married and all the tiny details just do not matter in the grand scheme of things”. This is just a tiny glimpse into the hearts of this sweet couple! They got married in a friends backyard in Fairhope, AL  with immediate family only! We took their couple portraits at Belle Farms and finished the day out with a stunning sunset, complete with mountains behind us for a breath taking backdrop! One of my favorite moments was when Mary Payne surprised Alec with a bible she had been writing in long before she met him! the Bible was filled with prayers for her future spouse and the sweetest letters. It was the most incredible day and one we won’t soon forget!

Special thanks to these vendors who made this day happen!
